4 years doesn't seem like a long time but Ella Henley had been with her high school sweet heart for four years. After high school and off to college together. Her longest relationship ever. They had a life and a future together. All Ella had planned was her and Jack West. But plans don't always work out the way you want and they certainly change within a moment. 
Heart broken and pulling herself together to find a new path in life and make new goals to go with. Ella is just taking it one day at a time. Trying her best to keep her bubbly personality and her wild spirit going. She's figuring out who she is all over again. At least she's got a little help from her friends. 
Derek Parker was their best friend and had been around before the relationship and throughout the whole of it. Except now that he's playing Switzerland and he's realizing just how bad he is at staying on both sides. Ella and Derek have always been close and he's done things for her that no other friend would do normally. Their always trying to prove one point or another to each other and everyone. 
So what happens now? Now that, in their six year friendship, for the first time, Ella is finally not spoken for. And she's just waiting for the right man to whisk her away after such heartbreak.
