the main character king has had a crush on his best friend victoria since sophomore year of high school but he was already in a rocky relationship of his own. at first it was minor and no one seemed to notice not even Victoria. so king just stood in the shadows and watched as Victoria dated and broke up with guy after guy and was there to comfort her when she needed it. king had already asked her out but Victoria rejected him. then in king and Victoria's junior year of high school towards the end one guy jostin seemed to catch her eye and she fell for him. king saw that they were happy or at least seemed happy with each other and wanted to be in a relationship that made him just as happy. will king give up on trying to be with Victoria or will he stick around? what will happen between Victoria, king, and josten? and how will she feel about it.
