The trees stood still among the clamor of their battle, observing instead of partaking in the fight. Some gunshots rang in the midday stuffy air, but for the most part the violence was left at hand-to-hand combat.

This wasn't a battle about bloodshed or power, it was about proving a point, and Walter, though nervous, felt as if this was where she should be. Hopping from one flashing instant to the next, dodging and striking and moving as if a gust of wind.

Nothing could go wrong. Until it did.

ミ✩

Walter is an eighteen year old with a strange past, stuck in a small town by her own means. The friends she has dont know much about her, and she doesnt have many friends. Life seems to be an endless loop of wake up, live, go back to sleep, and repeat.

No one was going to come and push her along. Until Lindy did.
