Living for centuries is a reality only in the mind of a dreamer. Immortality is a figment of a young child's imagination. Magic is what scientists believe to be a tale spun and wound around the ring of truth now known as "science". •-•-• Historians and scientists have spent centuries digging up truths and tossing away old myths and legends. Multiple humans have believed they found the answer to some of the world's most intriguing puzzles; why humans can't float, the reaction between to different chemical compounds, the cause of rain and lightning, you name it. Ahh, humans. Such innovative yet sometimes disbelieving creatures; always thinking there is a logical explanation to the world's unnatural phenomena, always thinking there's an answer to everything. Give them something more powerful than they - a creature they couldn't control - and you have pure chaos. When faced with something illogical or more powerful than themselves, humans turn into something you wouldn't believe: Pure monsters. They kill what they're scared off without even knowing who or what they were facing. They attack without reason and wish to have control over everything. Sometimes I wish I don't so heavily rely on them. My name is Republic of the Philippines, formerly known as Las Isla Filipinas. Human alias Isabella Cruz. My health and life are determined by the state of my country - the state of the humans living there. It can't be helped. We rely on each other greatly and all I have to do is keep them safe with the wisdom and power I posses. No matter how flaw-full humans are, I'll always love them. That's the good thing about being human, you can't hate what you can't love. But you can fear them. •-•-•
