cybernetics detective future mystery

A detective("Mark") in the year 2112 gains cybernetics along the right side of his face after he is shot by a radical who was aiming for the police chief. This story follows Detective Mark as he travels back in time to solve crimes before they happen.
(This novel is based on a video game of the same name still in early production. I am writing this to help me better develop the story, characters, and world.)

Ryan just seemed irritated. "I'll go get it." I said and headed to the door. What I saw when I opened the door made me want to run and hide. Ryan's dad was standing there with a gun in his hand. Well I've live long enough Emily is just a normal girl that happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Annoyed by her best guy friend she accepted going to a party with him which leads her into a messy scene that almost causes her life. But what happens when a boy saves her? Then they have to run from a criminal that wants to kill them, which is the boy's dad? Read and find out! The drama is just starting.
