A detective("Mark") in the year 2112 gains cybernetics along the right side of his face after he is shot by a radical who was aiming for the police chief. This story follows Detective Mark as he travels back in time to solve crimes before they happen.
(This novel is based on a video game of the same name still in early production. I am writing this to help me better develop the story, characters, and world.)

"Who are you?" I asked, still left in the shock and scared state that came over me when gunshots were heard. I look up to his face which was hidden behind a dark shadow and bit my lips as silence fell between us. "Who I am is none of your business," he said in a cold, husky voice that somehow caused me to shiver. A frown made it's way onto my face as I looked at the mysterious man who refused to tell me who he is. He stood tall in front of me as we fell into silence again but only for a few seconds before he began to slowly move towards me. His face slowly being exposed to the light, giving me a glimpse of his icy grey eyes. "let's go" he spoke again before turning around. I hesitated a bit before turning around and for some reason followed behind him. ─── ･ ｡ﾟ☆: *.☽ .* :☆ﾟ. ─── Ariana is a 26-year-old young lady, employed at a famous bar in New York City. She loves her job to her heart and counts it as a blessing since it helps in paying her bills. She has now entered a world where chaos, lies, hurt, death and truth reside and will find herself in a place where though decisions are thrown at her. Completed!! -- I could hear him running behind me. "HELP!" I started to scream the words repeatedly. I felt like I was the stupid, helpless girl in a horror film. I ran right into a fence and fell down. I got back up and turned around. Blake was right there. He pinned me up against the wood. "You are so stupid!" He chuckled. He grabbed a bottle of some sort and smiled. "Nighty night." He whispered. He sprayed the substance all over me until I blacked out. -- 16 year old Cathy moves from a small Rhode Island town to the big Austin, Texas. When she starts her new school, Cliffside High, everyone despises her. They don't like the same music she does and they don't dress like her. She's an outcast in their book. But when she gets home, she goes to her favorite website and chats with people who love her. Who don't despise her. But, everything changes when a stranger starts to chat with her. He compliments her, makes her feel bubbly. She feels like he loves her, and she loves him. Then things get a little weird when he asks her personal questions. Not thinking twice, she answers all of them. Cathy feels guilty afterward, and never wants to talk to him again. But he wants to meet her. A simple job
It was meant to be a simple job. All he had to do was search some ruins and kill any cultists he found there. Sum figured that by the time him and his boss reached the ruins, the cultists would be long gone and he could get paid for doing basically nothing. Of course things are never that easy, especially when his insane boss is involved. He really needs to stop working for that slaving bastard before he gets him killed.
