This is a retelling of my least favorite arc in, "Sword Art Online," which is the, "Fairy Dance Arc." I am going to attempt writing my own version of the story that is much darker and focuses on things that the original arc didn't focus on. The story follows Kirito, after he wakes up from beating, "Sword Art Online." He learns that Asuna didn't wake up with him and he now struggles to find a reason to keep trying to live his life. Once he learns that Asuna is still alive in a different game, he must find the motivation to become the player that he once was in, "Sword Art Online," in order to save her from a threat unlike anything he has faced, before. As the Ash Settles, is my take on what happens to the group of companions after saving Baldur's Gate. As the ash settles and the drinks are pouring a familiar sensation washes over our Tav, the very same one that compelled her to attack poor Alfira in her slumber, perhaps defeating her sister was not just denying her father but in fact taking back her rightful spot as leader of the Bhaalspawn, perhaps Withers was indeed wrong. Questions left unanswered while still having to find a special artifact for Astarion to walk and in the sun and still beating heart to fear Karlach. Rated M for Mature. Will include adult behaviors, some violence and well just stuff from the game itself. Don't worry though not a finger will be laid on the goodest boy Scratch. After being added to an unknown online group chat with twelve other individuals, our four main characters realize that they would have to follow in their parents' footsteps: beating THE GAME. Only this time around, the sixteen of these players would have to deal with a lot more than an in-game war. The four main characters, being born into an apocalyptic version of Earth due to a new antagonist created by some nosy cherubs, come into this story already having a hard life. Defeating a galactic tyrant and ending an Alternian civil-war are just two of the many hardships these individuals would have to go through, along with internal conflict within their group due to obvious differences and many life-changes. (The world-building of this story is based on Homestuck, with the 20 original main characters only playing a small part. This story has all original characters, a whole new plot and hardships, and of course, drama!)

But at home, she and Astarion have to face not only bias against creatures of the night but also the expectations placed upon Talin. As they dig into Astarion's past and search for a cure for his vampiric affliction, they have to figure out how much they're willing to risk for a chance at a life together in a society where going against the norm could be disastrous. Hi there! This is my first fanfiction and I've never written anything like this, but I love this game and I love fantasy and RPGs so I wanted to try this out and started writing for myself. I really enjoyed writing it, so I decided to share it and I hope you'll enjoy it too.
