The tale of Persephone is well known throughout Greek Mythology, however, the real tale hidden beneath the myth of a Goddess stolen away from her mother is that of Alena Cali - the Cursed Siren.

Forever cursed to lure sailors to their deaths with their beautiful voices, Alena is banished to live out her days on Cape Pelorum in servitude to the gods for the unpayable debt she earned in losing Demeter's daughter.

Now powerless to the curse that causes her to drag innocent men to their watery graves, Alena sees no escape from her doomed existence. However, when the opportunity to save Persephone arises, she only has one option left: gain the help of a lone sailor to right her wrongs, or lose her friend to the clutches of the Underworld once and for all.

Many forget that the goddess of love was born from the raging sea, but she would do anything to protect her daughter. Adora was Aphrodite's last daughter. Her mother kept her hidden. But, her mother isn't the only one who can keep a secret, especially in a world where your role in society is everything. For there was a prophecy long before she was born: 'Aphrodite's last child would be the one to take the throne, Her paternity unknown. They would carve her face and never forget, for she would be the most beautiful that they had met Cursed for the same fate as her mother Forced to leave her love for another The only way she shall break this curse is if she defeats the first' "Looks like the princess doesn't need saving after all." He says, quietly enough that no one else would hear, as he draws his hand away from my arm. I glare back at him. "Maybe she never did," I walk away, not sparing a single glance back, no matter how much my body was begging me to. I fuss over my hair, pouting as I run my fingers through it to put it back into place. *A warning note* I am not an expert on Greek Mythology, but it interests me greatly. Please excuse any inaccuracies in the book, but if there are any please do message or comment it and I will see if I can change it without making such a huge difference to the plot. Also, my main character is autistic and the experience will be different for everyone. I have tried my hardest to put down on paper how I feel and how I believe others see me. So, please be respectful about the decisions my characters make as I have chosen to give them many different types of neurodivergent brains. I have tried my best to represent these in the most accurate light whilst not romanticising them.

Percy Jackson's New Side - Order: Reborn To Return

38 parts Complete

-ORIGINAL WORK- Perseus Jackson is reborn. And no, he doesn't get a new body. But his life changes. Not only he is unpredictable, but so his is style. From one moment, he's all happy, loyal, playful, the typical seaweed brain. But so much can happen in such little time. And he becomes distant, shunned, his life twisted and his friends betraying him. Why? He was said to rape three goddesses, Athena, Artemis, and Aphrodite. So he was given a punishment from which he rose from. And he wanted to get away from them, but a new enemy forces him to make a choice. He's a new man, and had turned a new leaf. So why was it that his new ways had met with his old ones? The answer was simple: He was reborn so he could return. SEQUEL: Percy Jackson's New Side - Destruction: The Dawn of the Forgotten ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- "My name is Perseus Agnostos Jackson!" "...for your ignorance, greed, arrogance, and much more, I hereby vote myself to put you back where you belong!" Percy said as he let out a battle cry and charged, slamming his enemy into the wall. With that, a bright flash of white occurred, so everyone looked away. When they looked back, everyone was back on Olympus. "W-where d-d-did Percy go?!" ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Made in January-March 2021.
