Belle Maelstrom has a very normal life with her parents, even though she knows it could be worse. She has a promising future thanks to her parents nurturing her love of music and natural singing talent. At least, that is until her eighteenth birthday arrives.
Now, thanks to suspicious circumstances involving her parents going missing; Belle must go into hiding with a very handsome young officer, Jake Harris Jr., who she feels connected to almost instantly; all the while learning more about herself than she ever thought possible. When Belle saves a group of young girls around her age, Belle and Jake begin to learn some rather amazing abilities that she has.
