At the age of eighteen, Avery Whitewing is crowned High Priestess of Iden. And at the age of eighteen, Avery Whitewing becomes a fighter.
  
  In the world of Ois, three races of humans habituate the planet: the Avionaries, the Nocturnes, and the Walkers.  Gifted with bird wings, Avionaries rule over Iden on Capitol Eden.  The Nocturnes, gifted with bat wings,  live in servitude to Avionaries.  Lastly are the Walkers. Born without wings, they are forced into laboring down in the terra-sectors. 
  
  When Avery is kidnapped the night of her birthday, her whole life takes a twisted turn.  She discovers the world isn't as it seems. Taken in by Walkers, Avery becomes acquainted with the truth that those closest to her aren't what they claim to be, and the Walkers are everything she was told they weren't. 
  
  Forced to face the reality of it all,  Avery must make a choice for her country; for those with and without wings.  With the help of a Walker, can Avery bring harmony to Iden or will the heavens fall?All Rights Reserved

NOTE: The following is a fanfiction inspired by Tui T Sutherland's "Wings of Fire" saga. "Wings of Fire" does not belong to me, and much of the material included in this story is fanon, not canon, though several canon characters will be making appearances throughout the story. Taking place during the events of "Book 1: The Dragonet Prophesy" and the War of SandWing Succession, this is the story of Lemming. Lemming is a young IceWing of middle class rank, who has been a loyal soldier on Blaze's side in the war for a couple years. She's small for an IceWing of her age, but has been able to use this to her advantage to become a successful soldier and survive in the war. However, after a battle takes a turn for the worse, Lemming is left as one of the few survivors and imprisoned in the SkyWing arena. This new world is more brutal than the battles she'd fought in the war, and the SkyWings don't kill for necessity -they kill for entertainment. Can Lemming survive in this new kill or be killed world, or will she be just another body to be swept from the arena sand? NOTE 2: Some of the wording and phrasing of Pt4 comes straight from "The Dragonet Prophesy". That wording was created by Tui T. Sutherland, not me, though I am using it for descriptive purposes in those specific scenes, which first appeared in "The Dragonet Prophesy". All chapter cover artwork made and designed by me. He seems pretty useless other than not looking like a real Skywing and refusing to act like one." The twist is that the Skywing is James, or Phoenix in this story. Basically James gets pulled into a portal that takes him to the WoF universe, and in order to go back to his home he has to do one thing: help the rest of the dragonets stop the war. I'll be keeping Glory in bc I don't wanna leave out our sassy Rainwing queen, and also bc plot. Of course, there will be plenty of things that will change, which you will see as the story progresses! Keep in mind that characters may act OOC (Out Of Character) to fit my writing style, so I don't want to see any of you yell at me about it. If you have a problem with this then either be nice about it or leave the book. Small heads up: This will contain spoilers for the first 5 Wings of Fire books from The Dragonet Prophecy to The Brightest Night. If you have not read those books yet I suggest you read them, but otherwise you are free to read this. Little does she or the others know, they live in her mind as a place to keep her hidden from dangers in the real world, dangers like a dark figure hunting her and her family or Gregory Pheonix. The First Human and leader of the United Human Republics that wants her for reasons, not in line with his own peoples' beliefs. As the effects of the visions become stronger and her father loses his own strength, a plan is hatched to bring her to safety between him and her mother, ending her time in the world she has grown up in. With many characters noticing this shift, the world beyond the realm of her mind begins to heat up with a buzz that will usher in her arrival into reality. An arrival that she and her friends will sooner rather than later have no choice but to accept and must prepare for the consequences of their soon-to-be new reality. She might have been trained for this, but she will learn soon enough that she was the weapon she was learning to wield all along.
