Written in memory of my wonderful freshman year on track and field. Fun but never again. Sorry.

I met Isa Drew a few days after starting high school at Pinewood Academy. We immediately became friends, best friends, almost. Through her, I was introduced to a new clique and swayed into joining our school's track team. Crazy. Who likes to run...for fun?

Apparently we did.

Young, naive freshman. Running wasn't fun. I guess the fun part was watching the cute senior guys run freaking fast. Aww, cute. Flashback to reality, pain, soreness, ugh.

Amidst the pain of doing high knees across the football field and watching in horror as bad sock tans turned into distinct tan lines, thighs to what Ray calls "thunder thighs" romance was definitely in the air, one-sided romance, that is.

When you're a hopeless romantic like Isa, or a kdrama fangirl like me, Valerie Kim, the impossible becomes possible. And thus began our freshman track kdrama-like memories.
