No one suspected that the most popular girl in school, Meagan Moore, was responsible for the fire that destroyed her house and killed precious little Alexandria Moore. Why would they? Everyone knew and adored her, not as much as they adored her little sister, but all in the same. Then why did she feel so guilty? Maybe it was the fact that she had complained profusely to her mother about having to watch Alexa that night. Or maybe, just maybe, she knew that the fire was no accident. Something had happened that night. Something that had begun to slowly unravel itself so delicately, so silently, so skillfully: that no one had noticed until it was far too late. An innocent life had been taken and many more would soon join.
