When Emma was thirteen years old, her parents died in a car crash. She had no one left in her family but her sister Mia who was eighteen at the time. So when her parents died, Mia then took custody of Emma. Four years go by, and Emma is in high school and is seventeen years old. She begins to make healthy friendships, and learns new things, and also, falls in love. Emma meets an eighteen year old boy named Jett. She is falling in love with him, but she is afraid of getting closer to him because she doesn't want to lose him like her parents. As she finds herself trying to stay as far away from Jett as possible, something very unexpected but Beautiful happens that may just bring her and Jett closer than ever before.
