Noriko is a fifteen year old girl in the old city ruins of Shizume City many years into the future after the kings have all parted from this world. With the Dresden Slate destroyed into many pieces, new kings were unable to be welcomed into the world. But, Noriko, a girl with nothing, was chosen mysteriously as the new Colourless King. Years after the Slate was destroyed.
Noriko, along with her two friends, have to navigate through many dangerous situation after Noriko's mother is kidnapped by the Government for information about the Dresden Slate and Noriko's power. Through this all, Noriko and her friends encounter varies enemies and friends as they journey to the new Shizume City resident where the Japanese Government is based.
