Flarea is a fox shifter said to believe she is the last of her kind. She and her cousin Jessie who is a cat shifter are being chased by a hunting organization that wants to capture them both. One of the hunting members named Andrew was injured battling a wolf when Fleara jumped in to save him.

Andrew is a black-haired hunter that is a member of the hunting organization. His family was believed to be killed when he was a child raised by the man which is now his leader that is like a father figure to him. It is his job to kill or capture any shifters. His first site of the curly red head has capture his heart and soul but she is the shifter he was suppose to capture. 

Andrew must make a choice between his duty or his love for his red head beauty. Which one is stronger then the other.

The Wendigo found Dahlia in the twisted metal heap that used to be their car, just moments before her soul left her body. He fed his blood to Dahlia and brought her back to his home against her will. Dahlia should have died that day for more reason than one. But for some reason she was getting healthier by the day. Why is she alive? How could she live without her consort James? How was she going to raise their child without her ability to love? Why did the Wendigo save her? Why does he call Dahlia his consort? Most importantly...why does Dahlia want to believe him?
