A scientific modification experiment has left many people to donate their children as sick, mutilated monsters. These creatures usually die before they get a chance to see the outside world from either health complications, starvation, or from juries. However, a lucky few are freed every year to live in the wild. They have to be careful, though. One slip-up and they could end up right back where they started.
