2063. The world is severely divided. 20 years ago, the government had plans of creating a utopia. A perfect society. Where the residents would all live their lives in peace. They wouldn't have to work jobs. They wouldn't have currency. They wouldn't have to deal with challenges. They could live their lives the way everyone wants to. But there was one catch. And that was that the government made it a law that nothing bad could ever happen. No crimes, no arguments, no fights. The citizens would all be kept calm and they would be kind to each other. Obviously, this failed. Crime broke out. Everyone was fighting each other and the society the government promised turned into a disaster. So, the government decided to do something about it. They decided that everyone who rebelled against them or did anything bad would be put into a perfect android body which was devoid of doing anything wrong. But, they would also be drained of their freedom and emotion. They would be slaves to the government. The majority submitted to the government's orders. But some didn't. Lan Wangji, the Chairman of ZBG, known to the world by his alias of Hanguangjun fell in love with Wei Wuxian in eighth grade. He was the quiet boy whom no one paid much heed to. Wei Wuxian didn't even know he existed. Lan Wangji on the other hand never could let go. He stalked him for over ten years and finally approached him the night Wei Wuxian was drunk and blacked out. He took his obsession to a hotel room to have him throw up all over his clothes and then slip and hurt his back. Needless to say he stayed the night to keep him safe. In the morning when a hilarious misunderstanding occurs he convinces his crush to compensate him by marrying him and to his utter disbelief Wei Wuxian agrees, provided that they keep their marriage secret. After receiving the certificate they go their different ways. When Lan Wangji finds out that the Jiangs have not only fired Wei Wuxian but also kicked him out of home, he uses his resources to track his husband and shows up at his door with a pack of beer even though he doesn't drink.
