Recovering from a near fatal accident Sloane Davenford is finally reentering the real world. Compelled by the lure of a job assignment she teams up with her best friend Natasha Romanoff and America's Golden Boy, Steve Rogers. The spring in her step may be a limp, but she is determined to keep her optimism intact and see the good in people. She just didn't know how much of a challenge it would be when you're dealing with secrets that have secrets, and you fall in love with a man who doesn't seem like he can move on from his past. She's been able to survive working for Tony Stark this long, but she may come out of this one more than just battle-worn.
