"I don't know what made my nine year old self walk up the hill to old Mcgonery's Library. The old building with it's slanted roof and dead garden had always scared me." Fae Like all of the other children was terrified of the old house. So when she acted out of whim to help Mr Mcgonery she surprised even herself when she struck up a deal with him.
"I'll tell you what little one. If you like, I will let you come here whenever you want and read to your hearts desire. But only if you agree to one thing..."
She agreed and after that she came back every day. Keeping true to her promise. Nothing changed till the day she turned sixteen.
