Aurora and her half-sister, Jennifer, grew up in the small town of East Allegheny, Pennsylvania but both in different homes. Aurora, after everyone found out who she was related to, and being two years younger than her half-sister, was often compared to JJ a lot in High School, both being captains of their sports team, JJ was the Soccer Captain, while Aurora was the Basketball's, both also had earned full-ride scholarships to attend the University of Pittsburgh.
Aurora always had an interest in joining the FBI, and often suggested her sister to follow. It wasn't until Aurora shown Jennifer books written by the infamous David Rossi, that JJ finally decided to follow in the career path with her sister and both earning spots on
the Quantico's Behavioral Analysis Unit Team.
That was more than five years ago, both Jareau's earned they're ranks within the team. JJ became the team's media liaison. While Aurora took the other route, she became a Supervisory Special Agent and is the leading female on the team.
Special relationships developed throughout the five years, Derek became like the older brother, Spence became the best friend, Emily became like another sister, David became a father figure, Penelope was the mother hen, and Aaron was her person.
(I DO NOT own any of the story that revolves around the show itself. I own the character Aurora Jareau and some of the story line, that's mostly it, but I follow closely with the show. I give them credit !)
The secret love between Emily and JJ had been increasing for years, yet neither knew of the others feelings. JJ held back from her abusive boyfriend and Emily held back from her job.
The entire team knew that the blonde and brunette were much more than friends, but the women had the mindset that they would never get a chance with their loved one.
What happens when a car of emotions, jealousy, people and much more crashes at the BAU, Will the "not couple" be able to make it through? And if they do, Will they do it hand in hand?
