After a dance practice 2 months before the biggest competition, Lucy suddenly experiences every dancer's worse nightmare - not being able to practice with a competition around the corner! Luckily, Lucy had the support of her sympathetic instructor and best friend Joe. When the mean comments start rolling in, will Joe continue to back Lucy up or will he try to get more out of the relationship they have? Will Lucy get to preform or will she have to wait another year to win gold and go to the world championships? Join her roller coaster ride through ups and downs, friemds and foes, plot twists and turns, and new and old comrades as she battles her weel being, hobbies and love life.
This story is written from mainly the point of view of a dancer. I wrote it with irish dance I'm mind but you can chose to imagine lucy as any dancer you wish. Some dance terms may not be familiar and if necessary I would be happy to explain questions you may have.
My work is not proof read so apologies in advance for any spelling or grammatical errors

It's just a dance, what could go wrong? I'm doing a good thing, Rubi needs my help and I can't let her down no matter how much it scares me to be a part of a dance that will later be performed at the annual school winter show... I did not come to college for this, but I did come to college to make friends so this is the route I have to take to maintain the friendship I've made with Rubi. Again.. it can't be that bad...
