V roku 2050 svet sužuje vírus.. V tomto svete v dnešnej Kanade žije dievča menom Erin Windshild. Jej svet sa otočí hore nohami keď dostane tento vírus. Organizácia ju privedie do svojho útočišťa. Nájde tam priateľov ale aj nepriateľov ktorý urobia všetko čo je ich silách aby jej ublížili. Stretne tam však aj záhadného chlapca ktorý vyzerá že sa jej vyhýba. Hovoria jej že si má naňho da ť pozor a hovoria o jeho temnej minulosti. Ale ona tomu neverí a chlapec jej pripomína osamelý.

In the year 2022 a mysterious virus erupts in the city of New Yoke Town. What begins as an isolated outbreak rapidly spirals into a full-blown pre-apocalypse - buildings burn, panic spreads, and humanity is forced to reckon with a world where the living and the dead blur. The story follows multiple survivors - ordinary people thrust into extraordinary circumstances, each trying to stay alive in a world going to hell. We meet a hardened "shotgun fellow" whose past haunts him, a crewman uneasy in this new reality, and numerous others trying to adapt to chaos. As society crumbles, the infected - referred to as "turned" - become relentless predators, and survival becomes a matter of constant flight, distrust, and brutal choices. The narrative explores not just the threat of the virus, but the human cost: betrayal, the breakdown of community, and how people react when the rules no longer apply. Eventually, a powerful corporation called the Revert Corporation takes the blame for the outbreak. A "cure" emerges, but only after waves of death and suffering. Some survivors who receive the cure undergo a strange transformation - gaining new powers, or becoming something beyond mere human. The tone is dark, raw and urgent. There's no fantasy system, no supernatural magic setup - just the nightmare of infection, collapse, and the fight to keep one's humanity. How would you stop a mind-changing virus without infecting yourself? Is it even possible? Bryce thought sudden mysteries were over now that ONE was done. But this is only the beginning... Liam Plecak (backpack) had sent everyone home, much to Bryce Hansen (soda bottle)'s delight. It's been three or so years since then. Now, Bryce managed to find a well-paying job after the first year or so, and currently lives in a small one-story house in Rhode Island because of his new job, that being a cashier at a pharmacy, which he himself often confuses with being an actual pharmacist. One day, Bradley Silva invites himself and his son over to Bryce's house. The father and son immediately go out to fish. Bryce isn't happy they are just waltzing into his house to stay, but he needs company and would be lonely without anyone. It isn't long before drama unfolds, and Bradley Silva Jr was bitten by an unknown sea creature. He begins to develop a fever after an hour of contact, and he begins to act rather... odd. Bryce has a job as a pharmacy cashier, but doesn't recall a medicine for some odd behaviors Bradley's son exhibits. When this seems to spread, it is labeled a virus. Many and many people begin to get infected, including some people Bryce used to compete with. This is all getting out of hand... and Bryce needs to fix it... But how can Bryce stop it? What even are the symptoms? No, a better question is... IF Bryce stops it, can he stop the virus from infecting himself? Because this virus is driving everyone, infected or not, to the brink of their sanity. 100 years ago, amidst WW3's nuclear bombing, a deadly virus was released in the atmosphere and nearly wiping out the humanity. It lives inside the human brain thriving on the empathy receptors, leading to irrational behaviour and ultimately brain death. To slow the damage, scientists created L.O.V.E, short for Living Off Vital Emotions, a nanovaccine that numbs the virus and switches off all strong emotions. As a last resort and with a dying planet, the Supreme Government created the City, a place to contain the infected survivors suitable for the experiment. Those in the first stages of illness became ideal candidates to receive the neuroinhibitor. Having their feelings restrained and their memory altered, those who come of age are designated a life partner through a Selection process, thus preserving the humankind. A few decades after the trial had started, scientists had a major breakthrough. The nanites, which are highly chemically reactive organisms, are changing their bio-engineered purpose when dopamine levels are high. With a new generation of nanoids, stronger and smarter to fight the battle, the virus doesn't have a chance. Many attempts were made to create a man-made version of synthetic dopamine and each time the outcome was a disaster. Their goal is to create new generations, immune to the virus. These are called Purebloods, the offsprings of those who find pure love, the only cure to save them from a violent death. Running out of time, the Experiment entered in its final stages. To minimize the threats, the Colonies have sent their best soldiers to oversee the trial and protect its key subjects. If only things were going according to plan, or better...stay hidden. What would they do to satisfy their hunger? How long will it be until they go insane? For these competitors, they'll do anything to win, even if it means eating their friends. Four has always loved the idea of revival but never got the hang of it. Despite this, the integer, along with their pal X, starts a game show with 64 competitors taking part. All is well until a problem occurs. The objects start to complain about their hunger, which has never been a problem for algebraliens like Four. And so, these objects are stranded in an unfamiliar land, one without food, one without family, one without rules. In this land of zero contact, objects begin to starve, objects begin to go insane. Maybe it is up to a brave few objects to try to take control and limit the deaths and cannibalism. However, will they use their power for good? Or will they abuse it to the point of no return? And as for those other objects... They're hungry. And they'll do anything it takes to survive. "B... Bryce?" I said quietly between my light sobs. He didn't answer me. He looked dangerous. His hands covered in blood, his jaw damaged, his eyes... I didn't know, what exactly I saw in them, but I knew, there was nothing good. I realized, I might be in danger myself. I had no idea of what is going on in his mind. I started walking away, keeping my body close to the wall behind me. I stumbled on some trash, but gained my balance back, never leaving the sight of him - now, a total stranger, in front of me. He slowly followed me, his eyes registering every movement I made. They looked predatory, all his appearance looked like it. Following every movement of his pray. And I knew that pray was me. Some cries left my dry lips. I couldn't hold in anymore of this tension. I turned around and started to run, run away from this place, away from him. Before I could make some steps, I felt my upper arm grabbed strongly. I let out a scream and desperately tried to free myself from his strong grip. Bryce took my other arm and made me face him. My heart dropped in my stomach, as I saw his hard stare. I stopped for a second, but then tried to get myself away from him again. "Stop trying! You are not going anywhere!" I heard his voice, which was said through his clenched teeth. He momentarily turned me around and grabbed my hole upper body and wrapped his strong arms around me, making it impossible to move my hands and myself. I started to scream again, but again, his fast movements stopped me. I felt him squeeze me tighter. He lifted me up from the ground a bit and put his large hand on my mouth. That made my panic rise even more. I was so afraid. I had no idea of what he is going to do with me. Is he going to kill me? I felt his head resting against my head, his breath touching the top of my ear, sending a strong shiver of fear through my body.
