Governments throughout the world have collapsed and merged into one governmental entity. War broke out, which lead to a massive nuclear explosion that annihilated half of the earth's human population, including an unknown deadly virus. In order for people to survive, they fled underground, leaving behind an abundance of advanced technology and robots that they had created.
