Gracie Gilbert is the schools number one female player. She plays boys hearts so badly that they distrust girls. One day, she meets new boy, Ian Artist, a nerdy yet kind boy. She sets out a plan to play Ian too, but Gracie isn't the only one playing people. Ian might be nerdy but he's gotten more girls and broken more hearts than a regular asshole jock(not implying all jocks are assholes!!!!) has. These 2 polar opposites come together and attempt to play each others hearts and feelings.. but when Gracie falls in love with Ian, she finally realized the pain she brought on others...

"Oh please Gracie, like you haven't played half the guys at this school!" Ian argued at her
"What are you talking about?" She asked, trying to play innocent.
"I've heard about you, Grace Gilbert. You play with boys emotionally and hurt them" Ian said, "I just decided to show you exactly how they've felt.. humiliation, hurt, angry" Ian said
"But Ian...I'm in love with you!" Gracie replied, tears pouring down her face
"No.. You.. You can't be! You're a liar!" Ian said, with sudden hot tears falling down his face, he ran away
"Ian! Wait! Please" Gracie then yelled as loud as she could as she as the love of her life ran further and further away.

They're both in high school, obviously. They don't really look alike, I mean they do, but they aren't like, identical, different genders, you know.. Anyways, Charlotte switched schools because her family had to move, so now she is known as the new girl, same goes for Charlie, the new guy. Charlotte meets this really nice guy, Nate. Nate has this best friend who is the biggest jerk in school, school's player, bad boy, Aiden Throns. Nate tells Aiden that he really likes Charlotte. Aiden and Nate are like brothers, I mean, Nate was adopted by Aiden's parents, so Aiden cares about him, like he is his biological brother. Aiden thinks that Charlotte is using Nate for his brain, because Nate is a super smart guy, knowing Charlotte, she had a brain tumor, so she isn't the brightest/smartest. Aiden will do anything for Nate, so he decides that he is going to make Charlotte fall in love with him. Does he accomplish that? Will she fall in love with him, the bad boy? He's toxic, he's manipulative, he's mean, but somehow she's attracted to him. Of course neither wants to admit it though. Will their relationship actually work or will they both end up with their heads blown off? ------- Mature content⚠️ - mentions and some SA - cursing - abuse - depression and suicidal thoughts This is kinda dark romance. I don't endulge in romance like this it's just fun to write. This is also a slow burn. If you're impatient and want character development fast this book isn't for you. I want to keep this story as realistic as possible and people changing their ways overnight isn't. I also just love books where not everything is sped through and you really get to know the characters and their habits.
