Running. That was my first memory. The day I was born, I had to flee for my life. From the Wildlings. The undead corpses of wild things. They killed my clan, my family. I was left with my new mother, a cougar. I am 17 year old Haven Gosling, child of the wild. By biology, a human. A cougar by nature.
I was raised by a cougar until I was 1. Then I got found by some humans and put in an orphanage. Lovely. They gave me a name and I lived in that orphanage until I was 16. Let's face it. Humans are BORING! No powers, no magic. Nothing.
I ran away and thrived in the woods for a year. I discovered something shocking about my heritage. I also stumbled across a huge settlement. In MY woods. Maybe they're other supernaturals. Oh, and did I mention that I'm a witch?
