"WHERE AM I?" were the screams of Dawn as she frantically tried to fix her eyes on her surroundings. The world around her seemed fuzzy which lead to suspicions of her being drugged. As she tried to maneuver her way around the darkness, she heard a soft creak. She stilled, breathing heavy, her ears started to twitch in anticipation and fear of what was about to happen next.
Reaching out in the darkness, she felt a pole and hastily grabbed onto it to find some balance. "IS ANYONE THERE?" After a minute, she was starting to relax as she figured there was really no one in the room with her. As she tried to continue her way on, a tug at her ankle prevented her. She reached down to her ankle to realize that it was chained.
What was going on? The last thing she remembered was going for her night jog around her neighborhood, so how did she end up here? Now is when Dawn really began to hyperventilate. She felt like the walls were closing in on her, and it was getting harder to breathe.
"Hey, calm down!" a voice in the distance said.
"Who-who are you?" She tried, moving her head in every direction she thought the voice came from. She felt a body start to get closer to her and held her breath.
She felt hot breath on her ear and was starting to shake. She felt a hand graze her face and closed her eyes while she jumped back. A chuckle came from the mystery man and she reopened her eyes noticing he wiped a tear from her face. She didn't even notice she let one slip.
She tried to focus on his face, but everything was still blurry.
"Go back to sleep my dear." And she felt a pinch in her neck and almost instantly, everything went black.
