This story fills in some gaps from The Return and creates a few more that I may delve into in a later fic. Treville needs his musketeers to keep an eye on the new Cardinal and clear the Queen's name. Not only that, Milady is in town and seems to take an interest in our favourite Musketeer girl, especially when she sees how protective her ex husband is of her.
