Have you ever had a best friend that left out of the blue? Making you feel lost and wishing you knew the reason why a thing like that had to happen in your life. Caroline and Danny were best friends since they were born. They knew everything about each other. Every single secret was shared between the two. They imagined themselves to be best friends forever. That's until in fifth grade when Danny suddenly moved without letting Caroline know. It was then that she thought he never intended them to stay as best friends. She thought he didn't care about her anymore.. Her life went downhill from there. Everyday she missed him but knew he didn't even think about her. He truly was her best friend. Danny left because of family issues. This was not something he wanted. He missed Caroline everyday he was away. She was his best friend, but he wasn't sure if she would ever forgive him for leaving her without saying a word. She was everything to him, she was his other half. Seven years later a new guy shows up to WestSide High School. But is he really new? Caroline soon realizes that the new guy that every girl is fanning over is no other than her ex best friend.. Danny.

"You're leaving for Scotland ?" I asked in astonishment. "When ?" My best friend, Katherine stared into my blue eyes. "Tonight." "Wait, what ? You're leaving tonight and you didn't even tell me earlier ?" No, she wouldn't do this. She must have been joking. She shrugged. Her brown eyes shined under the sun. "I now tell you." "Yeah. "You think that I can manage my high school life without my best friend ?" Her blonde curls were blown in the wind. "Then make a new one." She said still facing Thames. "What ? You are the only one that I can talk about those boys-" She cut me off, "About the boys, don't judge their faces again, please. As I always have said, keep personality in mind." I stood there dumbfounded. What was happening ? "Goodbye, Andy." She then walked away. 2016. January
