Lydia Martin is probably the loudest person at Colorado University. Stiles Stilinski is probably the quietest. He's nervous about being in a new country for school and things in his past still make him anxious. Lydia decides she's going to try to break him out of his shell but it's a much harder task than she anticipated.

Stiles and Lydia have been friends for years, since the beginning of high school when they met at BHHS. However different that they may be - Lydia, Beacon Hills own sweetheart with her book smarts and musical inclination; and Stiles, the typical rough-around-the-edges smartass born with a silver spoon in his mouth - they've always had a unique understanding of one another.
