She refuses to ask her father or mother for anything.  

  Braxton Sterling had it all , the girl, money, popularity, and the future. Then in the blink of an eye, poof, his life was torn to shambles. The love of his life, his high school sweetheart, was killed in a car wreck. Hit by two Drunken drivers. He became cold hearted, distant, and a workaholic.
