"He will never change" I thought to myself while I laid in bed next to him

No matter how much I want him to but I knew he would never change.

it was two in the morning on a rainy Thursday morning

I slowly crawled out of bed to grab my belongings while tears poured out of my eyes.

I turned around to look at him one last time before I left

He looked so beautiful laying there with his eyes closed but I had to stop believing that he will be the man I want him to be

there wasn't a day that went by where I haven't thought about him

A month later a mutual friend told me he moved away. I felt my heart sink when he said he moved past the border.

I went home and I sat on the couch quietly. I stared at the telephone for hours. I wouldn't know what to say to him.

I picked up the phone and dialled. I got more nervous after every ring. I still didn't know what to say

"hello?" He answered

I forgot how much I missed hearing his voice

"hello?" He said again

I was silent for a moment but I couldn't help but say

"please come home"
