After the suspicious death of his father, a well known military adviser and specialist, seventeen year-old Nathaniel Jericho is forced to move to the country-like supercity of Grandzal, of which he has absolutely no memory of his past life.
Here, Nathaniel is placed into the position of defending a nation he knows almost nothing about as he is quickly drafted into Grandzal's Inheritor Program, a system which identifies citizens with the most potential and places them accordingly. Nathaniel and the other members of the four man sleeper unit, MOON, must struggle to discover the truth behind the death of his father and what it means to be Awoken, while defending Grandzal from its greatest threat: itself.

A hard-boiled eccentric police lieutenant, and his android, RK800 companion are no longer able to keep up with the cases by themselves, and request an additional partner. Everyone in the police department are already over loaded, so CyberLife creates a in-the-works android, developed by Elijah Kamski to investigate, analyze, and problem solve. And it's name is "Sean." A 16 -13 -1. Hank and Connor greet their partner with stress, and demands of perfection. Due to Sean being a project started by Kamski, there are somethings that set him apart from the normal android. There are multiple parts to his "mind" that come to serve his partners. Sean's primary directive is to serve, and assist these two in their investigations, but something deep inside of him has other plans. Even though making deals with thieves is generally regarded as a bad idea, there doesn't really seem to be a choice for these wayward souls.
