A story about 13 students from Turtle Bay High School, North Carolina (I'm pretty sure it's not a real school). They find themselves being strongly persuaded to join a new club being formed at their school, the pep club. It is supposed to be to bring together the schools feuding cliques, but do the teachers know something that they are not telling these 13 specific students? Could this club really be full of students destined to save the world from being frozen in time *cough, cough*. Is it one of them who caused it? Who can they trust? This story will put relationships and friendships to the test.

Anyway, you will most likely relate and form an emotional attachment to at least one of the 13, totally different, main characters in The Blood Key. Whether it be the book nerd, the wallflower, the football star, the exchange student or even the total out cast (and more) there will be a character for you. Just make it through the first few chapters of character introductions and the plot will start to form.

Also, I forgot to mention, there are mythological creatures our protagonists fight and/or meet. There are also witches and wolves. (What... it will make sense later ;)

I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace. However, what sets him apart from Florian, is that he has a reputation to keep. Serendipity High School is a prestigious high school that revolves around reputation and titles. Few have entered through just intelligence, among the few is Florian. Graduating from Serendipity is a key factor in order to enroll for an even more prestigious university, Eden's Garden University. What's even more nail biting is that the university will only take 30 students out of the 4,000+ graduates of Serendipity. As Florian begins his journey through the final year of Serendipity, he slowly realizes that his lack of reputation will maim him in the journey of getting into the college. The students fight dirty with money, status, and everything else you can name. This isn't your ordinary love story, this is a story of betrayal, twists, and events that will make you unsure of everything you have read up until then is even true. Bree was a shy girl who didn't really bother people but still got bullied for no reason. She thought that a sking trip would take her mind off things and that for once she could enjoy herself, but boy was she wrong. On her way there she finds out that her parents have died and that the bus driver took a wrong turn and is heading straight for her dead parents's mansion. She tries to warn them but is ignored and gets into an argument with the bus driver. Which leads her into a huge confrontation with her bully and almost getting raped! She also gets thrown into the harsh weather and she swears revenge. She decides to mess with magic which at first gets her what she wants but of course things get out of control and...you now what just read the book and find out.
