Ava Pierce always knew she was peculiar in a way that separated her from the normality. After her father Terry Pierce decided it was time for change. They had lived in in the small town of Garner since she could remember. She hadn't seen change for 17 years. She stared aimlessly at blurred canopy of tress that loomed above her. her body sprawled across the ground. She was contempt with her new home; for one reason and it might be the only reason, that a dark pine forest rounded the town. It made the town seem like it was something mystifying and uncanny like her. Almost made her feel at home right away. She looked beyond the canopy's at the angry clouds that have yet to weep. The ground was wet and cold from continuous rain. But she didn't mind. She was more than happy with the rain. The noise of thunder sounded through the sky. The first tear that fell from the sky ran down her cheek. She smiled at herself. She felt as if she had been here before. Not in the very place she was laying but in the town. It practically called her name when she first arrived made her heart flutter .
