Unlike other girls her age, 16 year-old Christina Evans had a twisted life. She suffered from Schizophrenia, a psychological disease which makes patients imagine people and they hear whispers that make them do a lot of dangerous stuff and Christina was one of these patients. However, she had a best friend, Jake, who she fell in love with and a schoolmate, Derrick who strove to help her but she constantly pushed him away. Christina is put in a mental hospital then she escaped it with her new best friend, Elizabeth Ronald. And the consequences of that escape is very hard for them both.

Karley De Williams was in her senior years of high school, approaching her graduation year she was unfortunately diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder, making her bipolar and very erratic. This disorder leaves rough damage on Karley's life, making friend leave her because of her acts and enhancing loneliness within her. She feels like her life is going to absolute shit until she comes across a boy, she wasn't the one to be interested in boys or truly care about them much, but this one had a different affect on her. As time carries on, Karley's relationship with this boy advances. The boy, Sebastian Grayson is not right in the mind. His home life-as well as Karley's-is not the best. His father has been abusing him mentally and physically ever since childhood, beating him and forcing him to 'toughen up' because it will only strengthen him in the real world. His mother could do nothing to stop his father's abuse, pretending that everything was fine. This story contains suicidal scenes, mature scenes, SA scenes, and mature languages.

Sky can control weather. She can change a perfectly sunny day to a stormy one, and its mostly based on her emotions. However, Sky sucks with controlling her emotions, which is definitely a big problem because she has to keep her ability hidden from normal people. Now that she is 16 she is ready to take things into her own hands and really be her full self. But Sky's life is changing on its own, and she has make some drastic changes to keep up with it. She can't just keep hiding forever. Everything changes when she meets Ash, who is a lot like her, and seems to know about a group of people like them who are possibly nearby. And suddenly abnormality could become abnormalities, because they are ready to find the others.
