Meree Abbott thinks her life is normal. But when she meets the alluring Farland, who seems as though he is from another world, everything goes topsy-turvey. Meree learns that Farland is a fae, one of a race of fairie and human- looking creatures that make their homes underground. But as Meree learns more about Farland and the other fae, she also learns of a war between two fae clans. She becomes the figurehead of the Fire Fae, the side of the war that Farland is on.
