18 year old Emma Atlas finds a tarot card in her pocket one night, leading her to an apartment where she meets a show-off hypnotist, a classy, previous magicians assistant, a card-playing thief and her control freak of a brother, who has barely spoken to her in years. The 5 of them find themselves forming a group and plan and perform some of the greatest heists in the history of the world of magic ever. Despite lack of presence in Emma's life, her brother attempts to weigh in on her decision to be a part of their group and tries to keep her behind the scenes as much as possible. However, Emma has other plans.
