Sarah Markham always assumed that the Ivy League was her ticket to a new life. But after graduating from Harvard at the height of the Great Recession, she finds herself with no job offers and not much hope. That all changes when she enters a bookshop owned by Samuel, an eccentric intellectual who offers her not just a job, but also a place to stay. Sarah soon discovers a small catch though: her room is haunted by Lucy Larch, an opinionated and strong-willed ghost from the 1940s. As Sarah tries to help Lucy move on, she meets handsome Irishman Ian Flynn and falls in love, but her insecurities soon threaten every relationship she’s built. As Sarah grapples with questions of faith, love, and identity, she must learn to embrace not just the spirits of the present, but the haunting pain of the past. Can she accept her past, and more importantly herself, in order to let love in?

When Jade tags along with her longtime friends- YouTube's favorite ghost-hunting duo, Sam and Colby- she expects chills, laughter, and maybe a few jump scares. What she doesn't expect is to walk into an abandoned hospital that changes everything. For years, Jade has hidden her feelings for Colby behind inside jokes and camera lenses. But when the team latches onto her, fear and love interwine in ways none of them could predict. As the haunting grows more dangerous, Colby's protectiveness turns into something deeper- something he can't ignore. Together, they must confront the entity that refuses to let go, even as the line between the living and the dead begins to blur. From the eerie halls of a forgotten hospital to the chilling cells of a haunted prison, Jade and Colby fight not only to break the attachment but to admit what's been haunting their hearts all along. Because sometimes the scariest thing isn't the dark... It's realizing you've fallen in love under the light of a camera. "She was the one the spirits wanted. He was the one who refused to let them take her." *Note: This is similar to a (y/n) story, but to make it easier on me, I made the name Jade Quinn to use as a collective name for everyone.* "They went looking for ghosts... but found each other instead."
