Every child has at least one dream in which they can fly. Why wouldn't you long to have such an ability? Some may envision this through magic, others through the use of wings. At the institute, these dreams come true, but only for a select few of the population.
Amethyst is one of the lucky few the government has informed contains the desired genes.
However, with a terrorist organisation forming in the UK and the risk of 'rejecting', Amethyst may not have the stable future she envisioned.

I'm not normal. I just know I'm not. I constantly have horrific nightmares about demons hunting me down and fairies pleading for my help saying that they need me. I just can't seem to get them out of my mind. I feel that they'll haunt me for the rest of my life. And that I'll never be sane.
