It's mid February and the start of the year isn't looking too good for me, My name is Amanda but people like to call me Amy. I'm what people call "The average 12 year old" except there's a twist, I'm not very social and my life is a little bit....well, very unorganised. We moved house to 121 Blake street because our old house was terrible! People always keep going to our garden to break things and throw rocks at the Windows, my parents had enough so here we are at Blake street. My old school wasn't too bad, Infact it was amazing! Everyone was so nice and not to boast but I was quite popular... But now in our new neighbourhood and my new school, who knows what's going to happen? Join me in this extraordinary story where I fake happiness and try to find out who the real me is, ups and downs, two faced people, friends coming and going.. What could possibly go wrong?

"Are you ok?" "What's wrong?" "Are you sad?" "Everything will be okay". Honestly, I'm not okay, what's wrong? Everything! And why am I sad? Because I can't handle anything anymore and NOTHING will be okay. I don't know why I always need to lie to everyone about me, it's not like they could understand anyways. Who's been by my side? Well people obviously, but none of them can know what I think! How I feel! How could they anyways, it's not like my life is a book that people can just read and understand... Who am I? An emotional girl who is exaggerating right now? Haha! NO. I'm actually Anne, and I'm fourteen. I guess that I'm a social teen, always looking happy and approchable. My life was supposed to be normal. You're born, raised by good parents, go to school, make friends, graduate, get a job. But instead, my life turned out to be the opposite of normal. And so it was for Chiara, Blake, Jake, Rowan, Nova, and Dijon. To tell our story, we need to go all the way back to the beginning. Before we were even born. It all started 30 years ago. April 5, 2003. a class got into an accident and when the survivors woke up, they realized something was wrong. they got powers , they got taken by scientist who started calling them the hollows. It took almost a month before they were rescued by Mr. Knight, they got taken to a secret place where they could live peacefully. that's a lie, one of the students wanted revenge and not stay hidden, so the group seperated. Every year another person got powers, and so, the search continued. But there was always one question on mr. Knight mind: Why 12 children the first time, and only one per year after that? And one thing was for sure: whenever someone gained powers, they had to give something up in return. It was never a choice. It was just the way it was. So, now that I've explained a bit about how this all started, let's fast forward to the present. It's now 2033. Mr. Knight has found 19 children, and Mr. Douglas, the leader of the other group, has found 10. That means... the 30th child is out there somewhere. Who will it be? And one more thing before I go-welcome to the world of Dark Light.

My life used to be pretty boring. Everything was average. Normal family, normal looks, normal house, normal job, normal life. The only non-boring aspect of my life was my best friend which was only because she always managed to mess it up somehow. I didn't really mind much because it kept things interesting. My overprotective brothers

Chloe's anxiety is so bad she has a stutter when she is away from home, isn't with her brothers and when she isn't with her friends. She has an anxiety attack almost everyday. One day her and her brother fight leading to her family falling into a ditch. Finally Chloe is fed up of her family fighting and forgives. Everything comes out but when her brothers react speechless to a sad memory Chloe tell she takes it as a sign in a bad way. Chloe takes a step into water. Her brothers have to say a goodbye? They don't know is she'll wake up. Chloe is in hospital lifeless and her family and friends surround her.. Will she wake up or will she take a trip to her parents? A new guy in class? The bad boy starts getting me involved? A new group of friends? What happens when things start to turn over for Chloe? She becomes more confident and gains more trust. But as the same time she cracks. It's a bumpy ride but she has plenty of help along the way- lets just hope her brothers don't interfere to much on the ride.
