When angels are born, they have the initials of their soulmate on their wrists. Every angel is born with this, and every angel's soulmate is another angel.

Lucas Anderson is an 16 year old angel who hasn't found his soulmate yet. He has the initials D.W. on his wrist. Lucas often wonders if his mate is male or female, since like all male angels, he has the ability to get pregnant. He lies awake at night, wondering who his soulmate is and where he could be.

Drew White is a 21 year old human with the initials L.A. on his wrists. The letters appeared on his wrist when he was 5 and he has no idea what they mean. All he knows is that he always feels like he's always half of himself, that there's a piece of him missing.

There has never been an angel who has a human soulmate. It has never been spoken of since angels hate the idea of an angel and a human together. But, there is a prophecy, of an angel and a human making ties between the angel and human world with a child who is half human and half angel. However, there is no way for an angel to go down to Earth without permission. If only the human could fly, it would be a lot easier.
