I am obsessed with kelpies. And I love to write about them, I don't know what it is about them that makes me love them so, but they just seem like the perfect fantasy villain to me and I don't know why they are so overlooked.
Anyway. There isn't much information about kelpies when you compare it to the lore that unicorns and dragons have so I've decided to make my own lore up about them.
Feel free to use some of this lore if you like it and you are just happening to be making a story about kelpies.

Now all that remains are the beasts of this world. Dragons have been a part of human mythology for centuries, along with another species, Demons. Now known as Krylocks, an ancient warlord threatens the very existence of all things pure, and two girls stand in his way. The Innocent, and The Shadow. So far I have only completed the first 5 chapters, the rest I will be working on while this is out. I'm releasing this so early for input, just to see what you guys think and what I should change. Just like her brother she has dyslexia but can read Greek somehow and she can hold her breath underwater for long time and she doesn't speak a lot. There's a reason or that. See their mother is mortal but their father is the G-D of the sea. But all her twin brother Percy knows is that he thinks their father left them. They really don't belong in this world they have powers but all magic comes with a price I fear. For one their mother remarried to this pig he has no respect for women and hates herself and her brother but the reason why is because of his horrid smell it keeps those that want to hurt them away from them other immortals like their father. They pretty much live their lives in the water and they can do things with water like their father but he doesn't know it and the only reason they have the problems they do is because of their powers those problems go away when they're in the half blood world with other demi-G-Ds like them in that world she's a mermaid, legs on land and tail in the water, and the not talking so much she has a beautiful voice, but its part of her powers her singing is like a siren song.Concluida
