Scorpius couldn't speak, so he just stared in horror. Down and down the quaffle went, the aggressiveness never fading, arms never growing tired - that was probably due to all of the Quidditch training, Scorpius thought briefly. With every hit a new splatter of blood erupted up and onto Albus, but he didn't seem to notice it, nor cared for that matter. He just continued to bring down the quaffle onto Kyle's face.

A dancing pair of fluttery pink fairy wings. That was all anyone ever seemed to see in Lily Luna Potter, because she never took them off. An angel of innocence, she pranced around Hogwarts as if everyone loved her, making good marks and smiling at everyone she saw. It was all a mask, of course, and it chafed at her, making her feel pressured and overly bubbly, like a bottle of butterbeer being shaken. After defeating Delphi, Albus and Scorpius are back in Hogwarts, right in the middle of their fifth year. Things are wholly different, now. Scorpius and Rose are dating, walking hand-in-hand in the corridors and Albus cannot help but feel jealous of the two. The sweltering question was: why was he jealous? Some things, however, remained the same. The bullies. The prejudice. The uncertainty. But that wasn't the worst of it. Albus thought he could forget about the horrors of what had happened last year with Delphi, but after a sinister lesson orchestrated by a familiar face, it seems that the past has a firm grip on both Albus and Scorpius.
