There was a gun to Deans head.

Dean was a fighter. A Criminal, he had expected to die young. He just didn't expect it to be like this. He didn't expect the FBI or the Deal. He didn't expect the fear and the betrayal and he certainly didn't expect Agent Castiel Novak. The man who stormed into his life and tore it to shreds. Castiel was probably the reason why Dean was going to die. Worst part was Dean couldn't hate him. In fact his feelings on the matter where probably the opposite. Not that, that matters now, not when the gun goes off.

Dean could still hear it, even now that they had been back for a few weeks. He could see the horror on Cas' face, the panic. He could hear the pain in his voice, recalled how it had twisted and turned in the depths of his eyes and contorted his features. He could still feel his own body go numb with hurt and shame, only to come alive with pain and dread once Cas told him about it. He hadn't been able to say it. He'd finally been ready to say it. He doesn't know who Dean is. Gabriel didn't want him to know anything. Because they think Dean did it and that he just tricked Cas because he is gay. The story goes in after he has been in jail. Castiel is lost he doesn't know where he is or who he is. He just goes where his feet take him. He never eats or sleeps but he doesn't he have to, he doesn't know why he doesn't eat and it doesn't bother him much cause it would just slow him down. He remembers nothing about Sam or Dean or even himself for that matter, but something is itching at the wall in the back of his head trying to break through, it wants to get out but can't. He gets fragments of things every so often but they are of pain and torture and a redhead he doesn't know the name of. One day a pleasant memory comes through the cracks in his wall he can't place where it came from. The only thing he knows is he needs to find the man with the stunning green eyes.
