With hunters, rogue wolves, humans and packs bearing down on her, Mira almost regrets leaving the Yellowstone wolf pack three years ago. Every single one of them has different reasons for pursuing her, but so far, no one has been able to catch up with her. She has the scars to prove that not all of her escapes had been easy.

After a particularly grueling night of escapes, she finds herself at the wrong end of the hunters’ guns. When one of the hunters steps too close, she grabs his knife. A hostage is her best chance for survival. With his knife at his throat, she slips away once again, but this time she doesn’t get away alone. Despite her warnings, she has no doubt that the hunters will follow her and he’ll be the perfect leverage.

Slowly, they both see a different side to the other. As they reveal their pasts, new challenges present themselves. Challenges that could either make or break what they just found in each other.

An entanglement of betrayal, revenge, love, and supernatural war: Mirajane; the dusk princess and sole white wolf of the werewolf world. ...... When betrayal comes from the ones closest to you, it brings the most excruciating and heartbreaking pain. A family that was torn apart due to one person's selfish and twisted desires. A regicide that went unknown to the entire empire. A churning mess of questions and confusion that grew ever larger. The solemn quiet from the neighbouring empires. Constant threats and pain reaffirmed that the most unimaginable situation was indeed true. Unable to sit still and with a burning desire to reclaim their throne, the eldest princess of the eastern Camavanian empire, Mirajane II, was sent out to gather allies. And on her way to fulfill her task, she met him; her mate. The Alpha of the strongest individual pack in the empire --------------- Right before they disappeared, Mirajane took one last look at Cullen. Her eyes revealed her sentiments, a slight...reluctance even she wasn't aware was there. Deep inside, she wished it didn't have to come to this, he was after all once her dear uncle who spoiled her. But the moment she turned away, she left everything behind. Her sentiments, reluctance, and those memories. From then onwards, the two of them were walking different paths, they were irreconcilable. ********** This is entirely a work of fiction. Book three of the Forgotten series ~ Weakness is not allowed in the Mountain packs. Living in the mountains, away from civilization and away from the eyes of mundanes. The Mountain packs are harsh and brutal. Shifter against shifter. Pack against pack. Wolves against wolves. All fighting for the same thing. Survival. Azrael Thorn was a powerful Alpha. He had taken his title by force, as tradition dictated. Power and authority of the Alphas and shifters who had challenged him and lost radiated off of his tall, bulky frame. He was dangerous and he was everything an Alpha of a Mountain pack should be. Yet he had no mate or family to call his own. But a mate who could not stand the bitterly cold winters or the brutality of the pack would not produce strength. It would only bring weakness. Weakness is not allowed in the Mountain packs. ~ If the pain stops, it means you are dead. Lace Owens is underestimated at every turn. Her small and delicate built matches her name but the power of defeated enemies hang off her heavily. A power and an authority that would bring many men to their knees if they sensed it, hangs off of her like an oppressively dark cloud but she hides it carefully. Unwilling to let anyone see just how powerful she has become. Her skin is marked with a painful past and she has turned a thing of cruelty into a thing of beauty with her blade. Swirling patterns adorning her skin, hiding the cruelty among her willing pain, her only comfort against the world around her. If the pain stops, it means you are dead. ~ Two world collide as Azrael and Lace form a bond and spiral down into unfamiliar territory where Azrael is shown that strength doesn't always come from size and Lace learns that love can spring from even the most painful places. Together they show the werewolf world a long held belief still stands strong. Weakness is not allowed in the Mountain packs. ~

Skye woke up in a strange town, her clothes drenched in blood and her mind void of memories. The eerie silence of the streets only amplified her panic. An older couple found her and took her in, offering shelter. At first, they seemed kind, but soon their kindness turned bitter, and their compassion twisted into cruelty. Unable to endure their accusations, Skye fled into the night, wandering aimlessly through desolate roads. One night, she witnessed something horrifying: two men transforming into monstrous wolves. Their glowing eyes locked onto hers. In that moment, Skye realized the terrible truth: no human was ever supposed to witness this. And those who did... never lived to tell the tale. Before she could flee, they seized her, dragging her into their world of ancient secrets, power struggles, and untold danger. Now trapped, she found herself caught in a deadly game, one where the players weren't fully human and the rules were impossible to understand. But there was something about her forgotten past that could shift the balance of power within the pack. Her search for the truth had only just begun, but it was clear that uncovering her past might cost her more than her freedom-it could cost her life.. or maybe, it could cost them theirs.
