Maya Heart is a broken teenage girl struggling with depression. Her dad left her, and her moms never really around that much. She feels as if she really has no one to turn to. Maya's best friend, Riley Matthews has no idea- because shes mesmerized by her boyfriend, Lucas Friar. But little does Riley know that seeing her date Lucas, makes Maya feel worse-way worse. Maya knows she is wrong for well pretty much loving Lucas, but Lucas has been the light in her darkness in all these years.
