I never planned on liking him... I never even intended on being with him. But something about him attracted me. Something about him made my heart race, my mind wander, my chest aching. Who's him you may ask? Well he's my best friend's ex boyfriend. I'm  Brooklyn and this is how I fell in love with my best friend's ex boyfriend.

Brooklyn is an seventeen year old who is a fun, out going and lovely friend to those who she is close with but to other's she is seen as an awkward, nerdy dork who doesn't fit in anywhere other than the library. Brooklyn has never had much confidence in herself as an individual compared to her best friend Avery who was more out going and had a larger friendship group than Brooklyn and most of her college friends put together. But Avery has been dating Keegan for almost a year and Brooklyn has never met him once until she goes out with Avery's other group of friends.
