Katrina and Mina are best friends.
But Mina only lives in her head.
Ever since Katrina Meyer was a young, she was diagnosed with schizophrenia, and Mina was always there, in her head. Katrina never questioned her best friend.
But at 17 years old, Katrina gets curious. How did Mina just poof in her head 9 years ago that night?
With the help of her other best friend Annie, her memories, and the internet, Katrina unravels the life of Mina, the girl who may be much more than the girl in her head. 
When Katrina discovers a startling secret about her, it sends her back to her old town, where the only answers lie where it all began.
