The story of a young man Dierk Kaufmann in 1940. He's a General working for Hitler at the concentration camp in Auschwitz. But one day he meet a young jewish lady called Ana that he can't get out of his mind. When he gets attached to her he's in struggle to not show any emotions and protect her without anyone suspecting it. He knows that her life in the concentration camp will be short if he doesn't do anything.All Rights Reserved

Somehow he manages to get out of the village to attend far away schools in the city where his life completely changes as he utilizes his newfound freedom. This is followed by several tribulations, conquering each of them, drowning in some and even attempting suicide. In college he's inscripted into the special branch where he becomes a cold killer who cleans the government mess. His story is that of denial, struggle with identity, lack of personal freedom and misery. It radiates several lessons and reveals how a person can be totally different from what others know about him. He knows that his end is near and that he has to find ways to emancipate himself, because knowing much can get you killed. Have a wonderful read.
