The story of a young man Dierk Kaufmann in 1940. He's a General working for Hitler at the concentration camp in Auschwitz. But one day he meet a young jewish lady called Ana that he can't get out of his mind. When he gets attached to her he's in struggle to not show any emotions and protect her without anyone suspecting it. He knows that her life in the concentration camp will be short if he doesn't do anything.

It's 1940, and the beautiful world thirteen year old Alina Fischer has grown up in is changing. It's hard to believe anything could change in the sleepy village of Felsental, outside of Cologne, Germany.
