The Alpha and The Cold Mate

"What's your name?" His voice rings through my ears but I turn my head, completely ignoring any knowledge of him there. I was not going to speak to him. Not now, not ever.

He's the Alpha King, he's ruthless, cold hearted, and a horrible person. He's killed many innocent people. If he thought I would embrace him with open arms as we ran into the sunset, he was wrong and honesty probably living a lie.

Most girls would try and make him a better person, tame the wild animal inside. I'm not sure they understand that all Alphas make decisions. But this guy. Was cruel. I am not going to go on my hands and knees and submit to him being my mate. He gently grabs my hands and I look towards him. "Are you mute?" He asks, his voice sounded truly concerned and I knew he was.

"I'm not mute," my voice blank, no emotion put into that sentence. He seems taken back a bit, I see his nose scrunch up in a bit of anger. "What? Mad I refuse to tell you my name? Are you going to kill me like everyone else that defies you?" This time my voice is laced with venom. He takes a step back and Jared snickers a bit. He pats his alpha on the back.

"Well, I'm going to go far away from this Blizzard here, good luck." With that he leaves. The alpha stands there staring into my eyes. His eyes were so gorgeous they looked like they had no end.

"What's your name?" He asks once more.

"What's yours?" I say,

"Leo," he responds his words felt like they were laid out gently.

"Mika," My name flies out of my mouth, he gives me a smirk and wraps his arm around my waist. I knee him in the groin. As he tumbles over I begin to sprint. I run faster than ever before. There was no way I was going to be his mate.
