They have to move from their home in England to go and live with them out in America.
Now Ava's got a step brother, his name is Luke and he's popular. He's blonde, boyish, childish yet reserved from Ava. They keep their distance but Miss Hemming's feels they need to be close as they are now brother and sister.
So he introduces Ava to some more friends, to parties, to a wild lifestyle that she's never experienced before. That definitely brings them closer.
